I got my baby back, baby back, baby back....
Tyler is back! Yeah! : )
Tyler came home last night after a week of being gone. Boy was I missing him! He was so sweet too - as soon as I got in Scott's house he was in my arms! He was so snuggly last night - I love times like that. We went to Target and he told me he missed me so much and he even cried a little! How demented am I? That makes me happy! I asked him what his high and low of his trip were and he told me that his high was picking out the Christmas tree with Nana and Papa, and the low was Alec Jr. crying! Overall, he must of had a really great time because he had a hard time thinking of a low. He said he saw Chicken Little - AGAIN. He practiced kicking field goals and looked for golf balls. He came back playing the harmonica - yes I did say harmonica. It is pretty funny actually. He plays Jingle Bells pretty good. I can tell this will be a funny thing to have around. Scott said he was playing it all the time in Jacksonville and he even tried to play it in the car on the way back. That got a big "no" from Scott.
So we started today with a fresh slate - he is going to be a good boy at school today. I hope anyway. : )

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Tyler B! Technically it was yesterday, but I was home and had no way to write to you. You are in Jacksonville spending the Holiday with your dad, Nana and Papa. I miss you terribly! Holidays are the worst time to be without you. Especially Thanksgiving. I went to Papa and Lilly's house yesterday and had a fun time, but I sure missed you. When I think of Thanksgiving and the things I should be thankful for, you are number one on my list. I love you son. I thank God every single day for you. I wake up in the morning and you are the first thing I think about. When I go to sleep at night I am thinking about you. I love you more than anything in the entire world. I can't wait for you to come home on Sunday - I miss you! I forget how much of my life you consume until you are gone. It's a nice break but I will be glad to get you back! We have a tree to put up!
Thank you for being the most wonderful son a mother could have. Happy Thanksgiving Tyler.

Soccer Game 3
Tyler had his 3rd soccer game over the weekend. His team lost - but he scored 2 goals!! He was not feeling it this time. He was saying he didn't feel good and one time he fell down and started crying! It was something. The last game he had Scott had told him that if he hustled he would buy him the Battlefront 2 game that he has been wanting so bad. So, the deal is that he has to bring the game to every soccer game and depending on how he does will be the deciding factor on if he gets to keep the game for the week. (I don't make the rules here people - it's all Scott. ) So, I THINK that Tyler felt since his team was losing that Scott was going to take the game from him and he was getting so very mad about that he lost focus. He was so frustrated you could just tell. Poor thing. Vicky was in town for the weekend and she went to the game too. Overall Tyler did good considering he stuck in there and finished the game and scored 2 goals. (Well, he really scored three but does the one for the other team count?) : ) Yes, it was that kind of day.
Now my buddy is in Jacksonville for Thanksgiving with his Nana and Papa. Deborah is in New Mexico with the whole Mexican fam and I am all by my lonesome. (Insert violins playing here.) Actually I shouldn't say by myself since I have Twix but what good is he? JUST KIDDING DEBORAH! I miss Tyler so much! He called me yesterday in the morning and sang Happy Birthday to me at the top of his little lungs - it was sweet. He had spent the night with my mom so they both were singing. He said that he was going to be sad to leave me on my birthday. Isn't he sweet?
Oh one funny/not so funny/depends on how you look at it story: When Vicky was here Tyler was taking a shower in the morning before his soccer game and he was just a singing in the shower! It went a little something like this -
"Glory to God in the highest - Glory to God, Glory to God..... I'm in love with a stripper..."
Save the hate mail you can direct it strait to Scotty P - he taught him the words to that lovely song. And I take the credit for teaching him Glory to God. Thank you, thank you.

Halloween

Here are some of the pictures from Halloween. You got Doggie and Darth Vader as well as Twix with his meanest Darth Vader look and me and Tyler as Princess Leia and Darth Vader - Please don't laugh at the hair. : )
The Carnival

Here is me and Tyler on the big slide that he loves! And so do I ! : ) And there's Tyler surfing through the fun house.
Our Pumpkin

I know it's hard to see - but here is how our pumpkin turned out - pretty good huh? Tyler loved it and was proud. I wish I could turn the picture the right way but I can't figure that out.
Pumpkin Patch
Here is Tyler at the pumpkin patch. I don't think it is our actual pumpkin shown - but the small one is.Studying for Tyler or me?
Last night we had to study up because we have his First Reconciliation class tonight. Let's see we learned about mortal and venial sins. Yup. I am teaching my son about mortal sin. Mind you I am telling him - here's a quote for ya - "Those who die in mortal sin are punished forever in the fire of hell." Hmmm... what's that mean for me? I better look into this a little further because isn't breaking any of the 10 commandments a mortal sin? Helloooo I am divorced and Tyler knows this - was he listening to me last night thinking to himself, "Why do I listen to this woman when she is going to burn in a fiery hell?" Did it scare him? It scares me. I swear I do my best to live the life God would want me to live but I made mistakes. Maybe because I am sorry and I have tried to correct my sins I'm OK. Does it work that way? This whole thing is going to be such a journey for me. I am learning so much and actually I am glad. I guess when you are little going through this you don't retain it because I don't remember so much. I mean before the last class I don't think I could have told you all 10 of the commandments. I know them now, believe you me I do. Well if anyone is looking for me I will be in confession - peace out.

Bobcat in the House
Tyler had his Boy Scout meeting last night and he became a Bobcat! He was so proud and looked so cute. They painted his face and all. They also passed out the Pinewood derby kit - oh hell. We know Scott is out. Pappas' get ready because someone needs to help us build this car. They also told us about the camp out in February. Great - how did I get this job? Can you see me and Tyler camping out in the wilderness alone - it's hysterical. I think we may be bunking with the Limardi's. I mean I can camp - but I can only do so much. This is like some stupid test - let's see does Robin master the camp out or fall flat on her face? Place your bets now.
Soccer Pro
This weekend was a good one for Tyler. Friday night we went and watched Chicken Little - it was so cute! Saturday morning he had soccer pictures and a game.
Guess who scored 6 goals!! Yeah! He was so happy. The score was 10-9 and he scored the winning goal. My dad and Lilly were there with Scott. Of course my son brings out his best game when I am not there. : ( Maybe he wasn't distracted by me taking his gum away, or MAYBE he was working so hard taking his anger out because Scott was late! Who knows. Scott said he did awesome! He was really hustling and being aggressive.
GOOOOOOOOOOOO Tyler!!!!!

Christmas Play
For the last month Tyler has had a part in the Christmas play that he is supposed to be memorizing. He has the whole thing memorized now - so I have been trying to get him to pay attention to the other parts in between his parts. (He is a narrator.) So after one of his lines the stable has a line. I asked him who has the part of the stable? He told me Jake did. Then he asked me what a stable was and I said it was kind of like a barn. Then he says, "So Jake is basically just a big talking house?"
What a funny, funny kid.

GOOOO Tyler!
Busy weekend as usual with Tyler. Friday he had a half day at school and he spent the afternoon over at Alex's house with Alex and Austin. Alex had karate that night so Tyler of course wanted to go too. Since they let you attend 3 classes for free we went. He was loving it! It was pretty funny. Afterwards we went out and ate Chinese food and called it a night. He was so tired he fell asleep in the car!
Saturday was his last day of basketball. He got his little trophy and they played a full court game. His team won and he was really happy about that. After basketball he had his first soccer game. Whew! He started with a new team this year since we moved and it is a little bit different, but he seems to really like it. Max and Linda were here from Jacksonville so they came to cheer him on. He was such a hoot. Every time he did something good he would run down the sideline looking over at us pointing it out. It was funny because he wasn't paying any attention to the game! He did awesome though! He scored two goals. Last year he only scored one goal the entire year - so you can imagine how happy he was! He did so good.
After soccer he went and spent some time and the night with Nana and Papa. The next morning I met them at 9:30 mass because he was supposed to sell tickets to the pancake breakfast for next week. We were there. We didn't sell any tickets! The boys were just sitting there wondering what they were supposed to do. It was kind of unorganized. Imagine that? Not Boyscouts! Tyler had fun anyway.
He was so happy to see his Nana and Papa this weekend and get his new desk.

Happy All Saints Day!
Today is All Saints Day. We have been preparing for this day for at least a month. That would have been the day that he got a note home from school saying he had to pick a saint and then wear a HOMEMADE costume of that saint. Tyler picked Saint Patrick. I looked him up on the internet and found out what he should look like and a lady at my work made him a costume, it was so cute! We made the hat at home and then practiced his lines. He said, "I am Saint Patrick of Ireland. I was born in Scotland and I use the clover to explain the Trinity." Today at mass I noticed that many children used cards for their sayings but Tyler had his memorized. He did AWESOME!! I was so proud. He was also a reader in the mass so he had more to say. He loves being involved in mass. I am glad about that. I took a ton of pictures - I will post them soon.
Happy Halloween!
Another year of trick or treating - gone! I took Tyler over to Gregory's house for trick or treating. It was Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Doggie Vader and Alice in Wonderland?? I know weird. I was Princess Leia, Tyler was Darth Vader and Twix was Darth Vader yet Deborah opted out of being Chewbacca for Alice in Wonderland! We probably looked like quite the zoo crew! Tyler was so happy to be with his friends. Gregory was a ninja, Will was a ninja, Nolan was Anakin and Austin was a vampire. They all looked so cute and had so much fun. He got a ton of candy! He was funny on the way home telling me that he was saving Almond Joys for Scott, M&M's for Nana and Mounds for Naynay.
