A day in the life of..

For the 4th we went out on the boat with my dad and Lilly. Our mission was to get some scallops. We got out there bright and early and we swam all around. Tyler found a starfish, saw lots of different fish, a shark, and a huge stingray! He drove the boat and was loving it! He did awesome with his mask and snorkel. Finally we got to a area that we found some scallops but the current was very strong so he mostly stayed on the boat. When he got in the water he held onto the anchor line so he wouldn't get pulled away. He had such a great day. It was probably one of the first times I can remember him liking being on a boat. That's good news.

A couple of weekends ago my dad came over and him and Tyler went shrimping out in the back yard. They went at night because it is easier to see the shrimp that way I guess. My dad brought over nets, flashlights, and all the good shrimping stuff they would need. Tyler was so excited! They went out there and they looked so funny. Tyler has his flashlight strapped on his head! When they came back he could hardly contain himself he was so happy! They caught 1 shrimp, 1 horseshoe crab and a stingray! Tyler was begging to eat the shrimp, he is so funny. My dad said when they got back that Tyler must have been hungry because he asked if they could eat everything they caught!
