I know I am horrible!
Things have just been really busy still - I have not had time to update. Even work is busy for me which is a rarity. Anyhow..
Tyler has been doing AWESOME at his baseball games. He really is a good little player. Scott has been working with him on catching fly balls and grounders and things like that so hopefully his fielding will just get better. He never has a problem hitting and has some pretty nice hits. He has gotten a couple doubles and he LOVES when that happens!
This weekend we went to Jacksonville and he was SO excited to go! He couldn't wait and kept asking me when we were leaving. He wanted to go shopping with my mom - shocker! She bought him a new video game. Vicky had a birthday party at her house for her dad who is in from new Mexico and there were a ton of kids running around there so Tyler had a good old time.
His new thing now is he loves getting mail. My mom has been sending him money and cards and Max and Linda send him $2.00 every week to get donuts after church. You should see how excited he gets to check the mail! And if he gets mail? Forget about it!
A couple of weekends ago he had a playdate with Josh from school and he really liked that. He had never played with him before.
His latest is Gregory got a cell phone and now he wants one too. They have these children's cell phones that let you program 4 number into them and they can only call those numbers. So of course Tyler wants one too. Now, I think a seven year old having a cell phone is ridicules but at the same time I can see why it would be OK if he had one. First of all to add him to my plan is hardly any additional cost and the phone would just be a one time charge so anyhow I was looking this up on the internet and he found me! He got all excited and I said I didn't know if he was getting one, but if he was it would be for this birthday. He seriously started crying and said he wanted one now! "Gregory has one now and he got one for no reason why do I have to have a reason??" I was like if you act like this you won't get one at all! Then he said to me, "Fine! I will just buy one myself with my own money!" I was soooooooo mad!
So, I will try and update often but you know how that goes..

Sometimes I think this child is so spoiled and bratty! Other times I think he is just the sweetest thing. Oh boy.
So, that's all I can think of for now. He has a ton coming up. This week I am taking him to Disney and then for his spring break my mom is coming here to spend a few days with him and then she is taking him back to Jacksonville for the rest of the time. May 6th is his First Communion, May 27th is his birthday party and May 29th he leaves for Australia. Whew! In the mean time I need to get him a passport and find him a suit! I've already booked the place for his party, but I need to get all the stuff. STRESS.
So, I will try and update often but you know how that goes..

What's new
Sorry for the delay - I have been so busy I have not had the chance to post.
Over the weekend we did a ton of things. Friday night I took Tyler roller skating - a new thing he loves to do!!! I had some weird cramp in my leg so I couldn't skate but I sat right on the edge of the rink and he clapped my hand every time he went by. He is actually getting pretty good! This is the second time we went recently. I know he'd been a few times before but a long time ago so he was pretty rusty. Now he just skates his little heart out! He was all sweaty and everything when it was time to go home.
Saturday was opening day for his baseball team. They introduced the teams and paraded them on the field first and then he had a game at 1. His team this year is the Dodgers. I don't think he was thrilled about that - but he is coping. He did awesome! Really awesome considering he had not practiced even one time with this team. He got up to bat 3 times and all three times had solid hits. Twice he got on base and one time someone caught it. He was not very happy.
After baseball we went to Busch Gardens and Tyler rode his first big roller coaster!! He rode the scorpion and the Python and loved them! I was so happy. I love roller coasters, so I want him to like them too! Up until this point he has not wanted anything to do with them. He was a sight to see for sure. As soon as we got on the scorpion and we are on our way uphill he changed his mind and said he didn't want to go anymore. I was like Tyler it's too late now! I thought he would close his eyes and crouch down but he didn't. He loved every minute of it and he was sitting up straight as a board with his eyes wide open. Pretty funny.
Sunday we went to his Boy Scout Banquet and that was pretty boring and long. I think Tyler is pretty much over the whole Boy Scout thing. The only thing he was happy about was he has to build a rocket and he got the kit at the meeting. He instantly said, "I hope Papa will help me with this!" Of course Papa said yes and they are going to turn it into a NASA rocket.
Monday we went out to dinner with Papa and Lilly and Deborah and Jeff. We went to Arigato's and Tyler LOVES that place!
Tuesday he had another game. His team did awesome! Again he had three awesome hits and got on base every time!
So, busy, busy, busy.... Tonight Aunt Deborah is picking him up for some fun times. Yeah!
